Women of Worth (WOW)

• Share updated lists with pastors & wives in your section

• Ensure proper tags are assigned to the pastor’s wives and minister’s wives in your section so they all receive your communication

Sectional Conferences & Responsibilities

• District Board approved new MM Presentation plan

• Sectional Directors will present during a 2-year trial

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with host church (meal, space, media)

• Ensure presentation readiness (test tech ahead of time)

• Keep event on schedule

• Distribute & collect:

  • Promotional envelopes

  • Pledge cards

  • Offerings

• Plan Ladies Fellowship

• Complete the Sectional Conference Survey within 48 hours of your conference. This not only helps us troubleshoot, but also allows us to receive the proper information to get the check in the mail to the host church in a timely manner.

Mother’s Memorial (MM)

• Theme: “Remember – 70 Years”

• Promotion: May–July

• Key focus:

  • May Madness offering

  • COS participation (deadline July 1)

• Sectional Directors must actively communicate with pastors/wives. Sharing ideas, promotional material, encouragement, ideas, etc.

Sectional Events

• Each section should host an event or several smaller gatherings.

• Budget: $250 per section

• Feel free to make your event free or charge a small fee to help cover cost.

• Can be for:

  • Pastor’s wives

  • Minister’s wives

  • All ladies

Scholarships

• Now fully digital

• Deadline: April 1

• No late/incomplete applications accepted

• Process:

  • Applications processed centrally

  • Committee votes for top 3

  • Winners announced at Leadership Conference

• April 17–18

• Attendance strongly requested by our District Superintend (expenses covered)

• Will include:

  • Scholarship announcements

  • Planning session for Ladies Day, short recap of Sectional Conferences, and Ladies Conference Duties
